Making gold leaf takes a lot of time and effort before finally getting a smooth and thin gold. Starting with 3 gold bars (or approximately 1,928 Ounces) placed in the extruder, the gold band measures 20 feet, about 3.4 inches. Each one is cut into another 200 parts of gold. Each piece is placed between two sheets of bamboo paper, and all 200 separate pieces of gold are stacked on top of each other into a bundle. Once tied, then attached to a stone slab. The gold is struck for about 30 minutes with a 6-pound hammer until the size of the gold expands, this process is repeated 2 times. Masing-masing dipotong menjadi 200 bagian emas lainnya. Setiap potongan ditempatkan di antara dua lembar kertas bamboo, semua 200 potongan emas terpisah ditumpuk di atas satu sama lain menjadi satu bundel. Setelah diikat kemudian ditempel pada lempengan batu. Emas dipukul selama sekitar 30 menit dengan palu seberat 6 pon sampai ukuran emas melebar, proses ini diulang sebanyak 2 kali. After a hammer beating session, gold has spread widely, these flat flakes are cut into 6 equal parts, stacked between bamboo paper again & bundled. About half an hour later each gold flake is pulled out and cut into other equal pieces to produce another gold flake. These gold flakes are clamped between the bamboo paper and hammered again for another 5 hours. To determine the duration of the process by process, a special clock called Clepsydra is used, made of half a coconut shell. Clepsydra has a small hole in the bottom and water is allowed to drip. Water is collected at the bottom and the gold hitter must complete 120 hits before the shell is full, which usually happens 18 times per hour Setelah sesi pemukulan dengan palu, emas telah menyebar luas, serpihan yang rata ini dipotong menjadi 6 bagian yang sama, ditumpuk di antara kertas bambu lagi & dibundel. The constant beating made the whole gold package hot while causing the gold flakes to spread and expand so they didn't stick to the bamboo paper. After going through a long process, it finally turned into a leaf-shaped gold, and this souvenir is priced at 13 thousand Kyats or around 96 thousand Rupiah per unit. Besides gold in the form of leaves, here we can also find gold in the form of Buddha statues, bowls, boxes, temples, paintings, and so on. #BojoMarket #BogyokeAungSanMarket #Yangon #Mandalay #Bagan #Myanmar #BelanjaOlehOlehkhasMyanmar
